Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and other famous characters of the Looney Tunes will soon devote an all-new animated series, in the tradition of the cartoon originals, and presented for the opening of the Annecy Festival. Warner Bros Entertainment Unforgettable mascots studios Warner, who were screaming of laughter of generations of children since their inception in the early 40’s, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and their other companions animated Looney Tunes will soon devote a whole new series of short films. Presented at the opening of the next international Animation Film Festival of Annecy-le Monday 10 June (in the first part of the film, Playmobil, the Movie), these new cartoons of a period that may vary between 1 and 6 minutes seem to give a mission to put the spotlight on the animation so characteristic of the original cartoons, while the dust and placing the artist at the heart of the narrative. Soberly titled Looney Tunes Cartoons, the new series is scheduled to end after several seasons with a duration of “1,000 minutes” each. It will be produced by Peter Browngardt and Sam Register (who worked on Teen Titans and Grandpa), and should be disseminated in a variety of media, digital or television. In addition to this new project in series, the Looney Tunes will also come back on the big screen in Space Jam 2 announced for July 14, 2021.
